Now releasing the RDEC2-LFS-VM EtherCAT Bus Height Control System.


The RDEC2-LFS-VM EtherCAT Bus Height Controller is a metal height control system supporting EtherCAT bus communication developed by Ruida Technology. This system supports EtherCAT communication and can be used as a slave station in EtherCAT systems, supporting both SM synchronization mode and DC synchronization mode. It can work with EtherCAT master stations (PLC or CNC) to achieve functions such as automatic height following, cutting head lift height setting, segmented piercing, progressive piercing, multi-level piercing, frog-jump lifting, and capacitive edge detection. The height controller can control analog servo motors, adopting dual closed-loop control for speed and position, providing high motion accuracy, fast response speed, and precise and stable automatic height control. It is suitable for fiber laser cutting applications including metal laser processing and tube cutting.


Function Description:


  • Supports manual movement, idle point jogging, absolute displacement movement, etc.
  • Supports segmented piercing, progressive piercing, multi-level piercing, with arbitrary lift height settings.
  • Supports frog-jump lifting and capacitive edge detection.
  • Supports multiple protection functions including collision plate alarm, following error excessive alarm, etc.
  • Supports vibration suppression function, effectively suppressing vibrations caused by gas blowing and spatter.
  • Compatible with any cutting head and nozzle, with adaptive capacitance parameters.
  • Supports EtherCAT remote online upgrade and serial port upgrade.
